John Fryer is an English Record Producer and Musician. He is mostly noted as a record producer and for his work with Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget and the Cocteau Twins and for his work at Blackwing Studios working on bands for the Beggars Banquet, Rough Trade, Mute and 4AD record labels.
As a musician, he is mainly notable as being one half of the English music group 'This Mortal Coil' (where he is credited as a multi-instrumentalist, programmer and producer).
