EMI Music

EMI Music (AKA EMI Group Limited or EMI) was a British multinational music recording and publishing company and the fourth largest corporate recorded music industry group in the world in the early 21st century, prior to it being acquired and broken up in 2012.

Due to debt issues, it was temporarily acquired by Citigroup who sold the recorded music division to Vivendi's Universal Music Group and the publishing company concerns to a Sony/ATV consortium.
